Delaware Coastal Flying Club
A welcoming community of pilots sharing well-maintained aircraft, knowledge, and a love of flying.
From sunrise departures to fly-in weekends, there's always something happening.

Founded in late 2020 by a small group of local pilots, Delaware Coastal Flying Club is a not-for-profit, non-equity club based at Georgetown's Delaware Coastal Airport (KGED). We began flying in the summer of 2021 and have been growing ever since — perfectly placed to explore the Chesapeake and Delaware bays, the Eastern Shore's patchwork of farmland and waterways, and miles of Atlantic coastline.
Whether you're building hours, chasing a new rating, or just want to cruise down the beach on a Sunday afternoon — there's a place for you here.
● AvailableA classic with real performance — the Tiger's sleek airframe and responsive handling make it a joy to fly up and down the Eastern Shore and beyond.
● AvailableNimble and fun, the Yankee is a great choice for a solo flight or a trip for two — low operating costs and that signature Grumman handling make every flight a pleasure.
We'd love to meet you. Send us a message or stop by the hangar.
